Length: One-year Program – Two Semesters
Purpose: The Career Studies Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design teaches students drafting and design techniques associated with engineering and architectural job functions. Students will learn current trends in the industry and how to use computer software programs to create designs and analyze plans.
Admission Requirements: Students must meet the general admission requirements established by the College.
Program Requirements: The student is required to take technical drafting and design courses including drafting and design, blueprint reading, and engineering principles and concepts. Instruction will focus on aspects of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. In addition, course work will be completed in architectural design.
