Purpose: The Career Studies Certificate in Management Specialist is designed to provide students with business management concepts and skills needed to advance to higher levels of management responsibilities. This certificate may be beneficial to those students who want to train or retrain in
preparation for a career change or add management job skills to an existing degree.

Occupational Objectives: Depending on student’s existing level of education, the program is designed to prepare students for promotion in their current place of employment or for an entry-level management position. Specific positions include supervisor, management trainee, team leader,
department head, office manager, sales manager, branch manager, and executive assistant

Admission Requirements: Admission to the program is governed by the established
admission requirements to the College.
