Advanced Registration for Spring 2015 Semester begins on Tuesday, November 4th. 

 

Student, Faculty, and Staff Halloween Activity and Military Appreciation Day Information:

  • Halloween Festivities-
    • Share your story of ghouls and goblins with SWCC and you could receive $25.  Submissions can be fiction or non-fiction and no more than two pages.  The winning submission will be selected by the SGA and read during the Face-Off competition.  Submissions should be sent to matthew.hart@sw.edu prior to October 23rd. Only current students may enter.
    • Face-Off competition-October 30th from 12:10 pm-1:05 pm in the Cafeteria in Buchanan Hall. Contestants will show off their face painting skills with two $25 prizes for the most scariest and most creative paintings!  Make-up will not be supplied, and all contestants must bring their own model.  Only current students may enter.
    • Campus Trick-Or-Treat- October 30th from 3pm-4:30 pm.  Bring your kids (12 and under) and let them trick-or-treat.
    • Costume Contest-see details below…
  • SGA Costume Contest (Only Current Students May Enter)-
    • Who- All SWCC Students are encouraged to participate
    • What- Contestants will display their costumes in front of judges (costumes must comply with student rules of conduct)
    • When- Thursday, October 30th at 12:10 p.m. (Contestants need to arrive by 11:45 a.m.)
    • Where- SWCC Cafeteria in Buchanan Hall
    • Incentive: $75 cash prize to first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place
  • Military Appreciation Day- Tuesday, November 11th Free food compliments of SGA to all currently enrolled Veterans and Student Veterans in the Veterans Upward Bound Lounge in Buchanan Hall Room 123!

 

Intramural Sports at Southwest offers students, faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in sports and activities on a competitive and recreational level.

All skill levels are welcome and there is no fee to participate. See photos of past teams in action!
