Charles R. King Community Center

Southwest Campus Facilities – Community Center

The SWCC Charles R. King Community Center is the result of the SWCC Educational Foundation’s $7.5 million Fulfill the Vision campaign funded by the private sector, and numerous gifts have been provided expressly for faculty and staff professional development, instructional equipment, cultural programming, endowed faculty chairs, and special events for students and the community.

The Mary W. Lawson Auditorium is a focal point of the campus and community arts events. The SWCC Community Center auditorium, meeting rooms, and other building facilities are available for use by community members.

Contact Brandon Hensley at 276-964-7365 or brandon.hensley@sw.edu for more information about reserving space in the community center.
