Financial aid and registration help that fits your schedule
Donna Price, coordinator of financial aid at SWCC, saw the need to create time and assistance for working students outside of the normal business hours. “By hosting this Financial Aid & Registration Night we can proactively get students answers to their questions and support them through a confusing process while helping them get the most financial assistance possible. For those that work or have family commitments to juggle, we hope this will give them an option that will work into their schedule.”
Participants can come to Dellinger Hall, enter the library and go to room 206 starting at 4pm. Staff members will accept walk-ins until 7pm. P
“Getting started in college is a complex process with lots of paperwork and unfamiliar processes,” said Dyan Lester, dean of student success. “We hope that this will be an opportunity to work with folks who are thinking about going back to school and help them get through the process faster and with less stress. If we see that this is helpful to the community, we will continue to host events like this throughout the year.”
