In addition, we are anticipating severe weather across the region in the coming days and would like to prepare to help our communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted has-background\" style=\"background-color:#aac8e0\">   <strong>This page will be updated with additional details or other important information as it becomes available. Thank you!<\/strong><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>We are collecting donations in the lobby of Buchanan Hall to assist with current and anticipated cleanup and recovery efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Items needed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bottled water<\/li><li>Cleaning products<\/li><li>Paper Towels<\/li><li>Baby Supplies: formula, diapers, non-perishable baby food<\/li><li>Pet Supplies: food, collars, leashes, bowls, carriers<\/li><li>Flashlights, extra batteries<\/li><li>Disposable masks<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The lobby will be open until 9:30pm on weeknights, and from 12noon \u2013 6pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If staff are not present, you may leave the items in the lobby or contact Campus Police for assistance at 276.964.7221 or 276.964.4357.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>The video below is from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wjhl.com\/news\/local\/more-than-20-buchanan-county-homes-destroyed-dozens-evacuated-as-community-braces-for-more-rain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WJHL News<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our friends and family in the Hurley area need our help.
