The Career Studies Certificate is designed to prepare graduates who collect and process blood and other samples for medical laboratory analysis. Phlebotomists work in hospitals, medical clinics, commercial laboratories and in other settings where blood is collected from patients. The curriculum provides learning experiences in the classroom, laboratory, and at approved clinical affiliates.
