                  As a result of the Federal mandate of the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999, Public Law 106-50 \u2013 plus a deep sense of indebtedness to all veterans \u2013 Virginia SBDC includes Virginia veterans as a target group for special support in providing technical business assistance to small businesses throughout Virginia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

                  Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program (ICAP)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  The Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program (ICAP) is focused on helping Virginia-based technology and innovation-driven startups on their path to success. ICAP works with startups to provide support along their entire journey towards scaling \u2013 from the early idea stage, all the way through working on Series A level of funding. This is accomplished through experiential learning programs and one-on-one advising with a team of experienced entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs. These services are offered at no cost and all advising is confidential.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
