U.S. Department of Labor Veterans Priority The U.S. Department of Labor WORC 4 – Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities Grant was awarded to provide training opportunities to eligible residents and workers. As a condition of receiving the funds, priority of service will be given to qualified veterans and spouses of certain veterans for employment, training, and placement services in any job training program directly funded, in whole or in part, by ETA. In accordance with the implementation of the Veterans Priority Provisions of the Jobs for Veterans Act (Public Law 107-288), qualified veterans will receive priority referral to services over non-veterans.
