hunter eaton

Hunter Eaton is enrolled in the Science Pre-Medical program as a first year student.  He is one of only 5 students nationwide who were awarded a  $1500 2017 Ike Foundation Scholarship. Eaton says that the scholarship focus, aimed at supporting rural youth with an interest in the outdoors or conservation, matched his goals and interests.

Hunter plans to complete his Associate of Arts and Sciences degree with a major in Science at SWCC and then continue his education to become a nurse anesthetist.

The Ike Foundation Scholarship is open to high school seniors, who are interested in the outdoors, volunteer work or conservation, to help fund college education. For more information, contact Georgia Householder or visit the Science Dept. website.

We provide programs, courses and workshops to give you the training and preparation you need to achieve nationally recognized credentials.
