The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides free, confidential one-on-one counseling to entrepreneurs and small business owners across all stages of development—from concept to expansion. With expertise in business planning, financial forecasting, marketing, and more, the SBDC is a trusted partner in building sustainable success.
The SWCC APEX Accelerator, formerly PTAC, helps businesses navigate the complex world of government contracting. From registrations and certifications to proposal reviews and market research, our team equips companies to compete for federal, state, and local contracts. All services are offered at no cost, and our regional office serves a wide swath of Southwest Virginia.
Through our Career Services Center, employers can connect directly with SWCC students and alumni via the Flying Eagle Job Board, targeted outreach, and internship coordination. We work closely with businesses to promote job openings, facilitate experiential learning, and build a skilled local workforce.
