Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic (SCSC) Doctor of Chiropractic Degree

Articulation Agreement between SCSC and SWCC paves the way for SWCC Science students’ admission to the Sherman College of Chiropractic

SWCC students who graduate with an AA&S degree in science with a Specialization in Pre-Medical, and the Advanced Studies in Science certificate and meet all of the requirements listed in the articulation agreement with SWCC & the Sherman College of Chiropractic will be eligible for a reserved seat in the program.

To be considered for acceptance:

  1. Students are admitted at SCSC only as incoming freshmen.
  2. While enrolled at SWCC, students will complete all required coursework as outlined above and described in the SWCC Catalog.
  3. Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic shall accept, for the entrance date of their choice, all students who successfully complete the Pre-Chiropractic Program with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and meet all other criteria for admission.
  4. All students in the Natural Science Pre-Chiropractic program will complete a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer work with a licensed chiropractic professional prior to applying to SCSC.
  5. Students who earn less than a 3.25 GPA but at least a 2.75 GPA will be eligible for admission to SCSC and will receive appropriate consideration in the admission process for having completed the SWCC Pre-Professional program but will not receive the assurance of a seat reserved for students earning a 3.25 or higher GPA.
  6. Students will make an application to SCSC one year in advance of their desired entrance date and will complete all required application procedures thereafter in a timely manner, including submission of a recommendation and a satisfactory interview.
