Dr. Loretta Beavers, Professor of Business, and Dr. Brian Wright, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, were recent guests of The George Washington University School of Business’ Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER). The workshop, in conjunction with Howard University, focused on internationalizing the curriculum through cultural assessment and awareness, study abroad, the integration of Liberal Arts, and the use of multi-cultural simulations. Speakers at the event included scholars from The George Washington University, Howard University, The University of the District of Columbia, and the University of Richmond, as well as a former Proctor and Gamble Country Manager for Pakistan and Ukraine. The event was held on The George Washington University’s campus. Dr. Beavers also spent part of the summer traveling with CIBER in Denmark and Sweden looking at innovation innew construction utilizing Green technology and sustainability.
