CEDAR BLUFF, VA – The Southwest Virginia Community College athletic department has announced the suspension of all intercollegiate athletics for the 2020-21 academic year due to the corona-virus pandemic.
“While we are eager to see our student athletes compete, we must always place the health and safety of our student athletes as our number one priority,” Athletic Director Jason Vencill said. “We are excited and eagerly await our return to competition in the 2021-22 season.”
While Southwest will honor all letters of intent, any current athlete signed to a letter of intent will be given release to transfer if requested.
