Gov. Glenn Youngkin Visits Southwest

Southwest Virginia Community College hosted a round-table discussion with state leaders, including Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. College president Dr. Tommy Wright moderated the event. Sen. Travis Hackworth and Del. Will Morefield were on the stage with the Governor as local leaders presented their comments and questions. The conversation covered various topics, including ways to improve the region’s economy, education, healthcare, and housing.
