VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Four Southwest Virginia Community College students won awards at the Virginia Skills USA competition in Virginia Beach, April 18-21, 2024, guided by instructors Steven Olinger and Anthony Blevins.

CNC 3-Axis Milling Programmer
- James Horn, First Place (Gold)
- Anthony King, Second Place (Silver)
- Timothy Stout Third Place (Bronze)
Rose and Horn qualified for the National SkillsUSA competition in Atlanta, GA, this June.
