CEDAR BLUFF, VA — Southwest Virginia Community College is proud to announce that 35 Flying Eagles student-athletes have been named to the 2024–25 NJCAA All-Academic Teams, recognizing outstanding academic performance across all sports.

To earn this national honor from the NJCAA, student-athletes must have completed at least 24 credit hours and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.60:

  • First Team: 4.00 GPA
  • Second Team: 3.80–3.99 GPA
  • Third Team: 3.60–3.79 GPA

“Success on the field is admirable, but success in the classroom is a legacy. These 35 student-athletes didn’t just wear the jersey — they earned the distinction of scholar, teammate, and leader. They represent the true spirit of college athletics,” said Dr. Gary Warford, Athletic Director at Southwest Virginia CC.
