Founded by Preston Ball, this mobile food truck is located in Russell County, Virginia. It cooks up the joy of a backyard barbecue, and strives to fix authentic, affordable slow-smoked barbecue with exceptional flavor coupled with providing a friendly, community-focused experience.
“Working with Preston through the SWCC SBDC, we have witnessed firsthand his dedication and talent,” said SWCC SBDC Director Denise Harmon. “His passion for producing top-tier barbecue and creating a signature sauce sets his food truck apart. We’re proud to support Preston as he rolls out delicious food options and we’re excited to see PBall’s Smoke & Grill become a staple in the local community.”

Founded by Kanika Wallace and Delaney Goodman, developing and manufacturing skin care products started out as way to meet their own skin care needs, but now, the products they have created and marketed under the name “NEEKA + LANEY Luxury Bath & Body” have become more than just a brand.
“We were proud to partner with Kanika Wallace on Neeka Skincare as she secured VCEDA Seed Capital funding,” said Denise Harmon, director of the SWCC SBDC. “Her ‘farm-to-face’ approach — using locally sourced ingredients to create high-quality bath and body products — exemplifies small-business innovation and community-driven growth in Tazewell County.”
