Southwest Virginia Community College is proud to announce that nine outstanding faculty and staff members have been selected as recipients of the 2024 NISOD Excellence Awards.
The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment and contribution to their students and colleagues.

Each Excellence Award recipient will receive an engraved medallion, certificate, and listings in the awards booklet and website.
“The extraordinary work of these men and women includes not only what they do for their students and colleagues, but what they do for the communities in which they live and work,” said Dr. Edward J. Leach, NISOD’s Executive Director. “We’re honored to be able to play a part in celebrating their achievements.”
