The Pharmacy Technician program at our Lebanon Center is designed to prepare students to assist and support licensed pharmacists in providing health care and medications to patients.
Get the skills you need to assist and support licensed pharmacists. Pharmacy technicians work in hospital, retail, home health care, nursing home, clinic, nuclear medicine, and mail order prescription pharmacies
Occupational Objectives: Pharmacy technicians have been employed by medical insurance companies, medical computer software companies, drug manufacturing companies, drug wholesale companies, and food processing companies, and as instructors in pharmacy technician training programs. Currently, hospitals, home health care, and retail pharmacies hire the majority of technicians.
Students are required to complete a background check with the Department of State Police by the end of the first semester.
By partnering with PioneerRx Pharmacy Software, our program allows students to learn in a real-world environment using the most widely installed software for independent pharmacies. Students enhance their clinical and functional skills through training on an innovative, robust, and feature-rich pharmacy system.
UPDATE: All Southwest locations are CLOSED on Tuesday, March 17, due to inclement weather.
