If you have less than 15 credit hours, you’re in the right spot. Connect with one of our academic advisors. Most meetings will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. However, if that’s a problem for you, we will be able to talk via the telephone.
If you have more than 15 college-level credits, it is recommended that you connect with your faculty advisor to enroll. (Your faculty advisor may direct you to enroll with one of our advisors in the Advising Center.)
Unsure of your faculty advisor? To locate your faculty advisor, please log in to mySouthwest using your username and password. From the portal, please select SIS and then Student Center. From this page, you will see the name of your faculty advisor in the bottom right corner. (If you have forgotten your username or password, please call Admissions at 276-964-7238 or email admissions@sw.edu.)
Need faculty contact details? To contact your faculty advisor to schedule your advising session, please visit our employee directory.
Self-enrollment is for current Southwest students who have more than 15 college-level credit hours and know the exact courses required for their degree plan. Please note this is not our preferred method of enrollment.
If you need guided assistance, we encourage you to schedule a meeting with an academic advisor or follow the steps in the section above to contact your faculty advisor.
Self-enrollment Instructions The instructions below are intended to guide you through self-enrollment. If, at any time, you encounter difficulty, please email onlineadvisor@sw.edu. (If you have forgotten your username or password, please call Admissions at 276-964-7238 or email admissions@sw.edu.)
