Charley Stevens graduated from Southwest Virginia Community College in 2020 with a degree in Criminal Justice. As a young mother of a two-year old child without childcare, she took advantage of the college’s distance learning option to attend classes online. When coming to campus for exams, Stevens recalls how accommodating the Southwest staff was and how much that meant to her and her son.
