SWCC Annual Security Report
The Annual Security report was prepared by Southwest Virginia Community College’s Dean of Student Success to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act.
This report is prepared in cooperation with the local law enforcement agencies within the college’s service region. Each entity provides updated information on their educational efforts and programs to comply with the Act.
Each year, an email notification is made to all enrolled students and all faculty and staff that provides the website to access this report.

Daily Crime Log
The purpose of the daily crime log is to record all criminal incidents and alleged criminal incidents that are reported to the campus police or security department. The crime log for the most recent 60-day period is open to public inspection, free of charge, upon request, during normal business hours. Anyone may have access to the log, whether or not they are associated with SWCC. The Southwest Community College Daily Crime Report is located in the SWCC Police Department, room B-113 of Buchanan Hall.
