SWATA Summer Open academic competitionin the "quizbowl" format. This competition will primarily recruitteams from Far Southwest Virginia, although we would be open to participationfrom further afield; we're targeting the Lebanon campus specifically forits centrality to interested competitors in the Far SWVA region.The competition will likely engage students from the 10th grade levelthrough early college age.

Join the SWCC Music Department on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Appalachian Art Center will host a Jazz Luncheon. Grab some lunch and listen to some Jazz! Hillbilly Dinner Bucket food truck will be setup in the parking lot of the Arts Center.

8:15 Arrival 11:15: campus tour (45 min) 12-1:15: Panel presentation and Q&A Focus: What differentiates SWCC: housing, athletics, and workforce. Opportunity to showcase SWCC. Lead SWVA’s cohort of organizational leaders and community members, discussion on what makes SWCC stand out from other community colleges in our region.

Food Truck Friday is proud to have Hillbilly Dinner Bucket! Food truck will be setup from 9a-3p in the parking lot of the KCC! No need to leave campus for food!
