Security Awareness Training

All employees of SWCC must obtain a security awareness training certificate in order to receive/maintain access to SWCC net

worked information including computers, printers, email, networked applications, AIS and SIS information.
–Employees will receive an email notice for Certification Renewal in their mailbox each year on their individual certification date, and must complete the online security awareness training within 30 days.

All employees must complete the HRMS Overview and Self Service Training. These mandatory courses are accessed through Learning Center.

COVACARE ValueOptions – Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

ValueOptions provides your behavioral health and EAP benefits under COVA Care. Review the website at for full information about the services available to you.

We recommend that you call ValueOptions at 1-866-725-0602 so that your care through the ValueOptions services can be authorized in advance. A ValueOptions participating provider works with a care manager to ensure that the services you receive are covered under your plan.

When you self-refer to a non-network provider, you are responsible for making sure the services you receive are medically necessary for your condition. There is no out-of-network coverage (except for an emergency) unless you choose the Out-of-Network option.

The Employee Assistance Program offers up to four visits at no cost to you or members of your household for counseling in such areas as mental health, substance abuse, work and family issues, financial or legal matters.

The purpose of CommonHealth of Virginia is to assist state employees, their families, and state retirees, in identifying and changing unhealthy behavior and lifestyles. Participants in CommonHealth identify their own health risks by filling out a health risk appraisal and participating in a medical screening at the worksite.  Each participant reviews a confidential health risk profile which pinpoints personal health risks and areas that need improvement and which outlines the steps necessary to make positive lifestyle changes.
