SWCC students who graduate with an AA&S degree in science with a Specialization in Pre-Medical, and Advanced Studies in Science certificate and meet all of the requirements listed in the articulation agreement with SWCC & the Sherman College of Chiropractic will be eligible for a reserved seat in the program.

Articulation Agreement between KYCO and SWCC paves way for SWCC Science graduates admission to the Kentucky College of Optometry
SWCC students who graduate with an AA&S degree in science with a specialization in pre-medical, and the Advanced Studies in Science certificate and meet all of the requirements listed in the articulation agreement with SWCC & the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry (KYCO), will be eligible to attain one of three reserved seats at KYCO. The University of Pikeville will provide up to three students preferential admission to UPike’s Doctor of Optometry program through the Reserved Student Placement Program.

The articulation Agreement between Virginia Commonwealth University and SWCC provides an entry path for SWCC Science graduates into the VCU Medical Laboratory Sciences program.
SWCC students who graduate with an AA&S degree in science, and meet all of the criteria listed in the articulation agreement with SWCC & VCU, will be guaranteed admission to the VCU B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences program.

Preferential Admission with the Appalachian College of Pharmacy gives SWCC Science graduates a smooth entry path into a great career in Pharmacy.
SWCC students who graduate with an AA&S degree in science with a pre-medical specialization and a pre-pharmacy track are provided preferential admission to ACP when compared to similar applicants from non-partner institutions.
